Hydration and Circuits
A brief summary of events since my last blog.
Gave my son wings to fly to Australia as all good parents would – Prayed he would be safe.
Received the call that he had crashed his camper van somewhere in the Outback – Prayed a bit harder!
Found out injuries were unpleasant but superficial, he was traumatised. Booked his flight home. He will be back soon – I am still praying.
So apart from that everything is going very well.
I attended a Circuit Instructor’s Course and now have the qualification to take classes. I enjoy the short circuits we do in Body Logic but to dedicate a whole hour to that would bore me and I could not find anything remotely amusing about it which rather takes the fun out of it!
Another class has been added to the list at 8pm on a Wednesday so nearly all bases are now covered.
I am also offering ‘bring a friend and get your class free’ to make sure all the bases are busy!
As mentioned in an earlier face book post, these blogs will soon become interactive and have Blog titles so you can see at a glance which theme I am covering that week. There will be images to convey my theme and you will find useful and valuable tips which I hope you find inspiring and encouraging. In the meantime here is a taster…..
Drinking water has never been more important. Why? Because apart from quenching your thirst and keeping headaches at bay there is a weight loss connection. Dehydration = water retention as the body will worry it needs to save the little water you have given it. Without enough water the liver is unable to metabolise fat at the normal rate, in other words your metabolism slows down and so the body stores fat and water. To avoid this nightmare scenario or reverse it is extremely simple, and I like a happy ending. Drink more but watch out for those diuretics and that is another blog story altogether!
Until next time.
