The Challenge
How ‘The Challenge’ was born:
When I knew that my 50th birthday celebration was to involve skiing in the French Alps, my immediate reaction was joy. It is my favourite sport and one that never fails to excite me. These emotions were quickly followed by worry. What would all my loyal Tessfit clients do instead of their classes during that week? I had to come up with a plan to keep them motivated and of course fit!
Everyone works at different levels during the classes so it made sense to suggest something that could be achieved on the same basis. It was to be a personal challenge.
What did it involve?
Everyone was invited to attempt an activity that would be a challenge to them. Something they would not have done without being, well, challenged! The suggestions people started to make gave me great hope that this would be a success. The opportunity to be proud of an achievement based on fitness was one not to be missed!
The Outcome:
I am happy to report that it was a great success and I can honestly say that I felt proud and inspired by every single person who not only achieved their challenge but bothered to send the results to France. I now have great pleasure in documenting those efforts and saying a big WELL DONE!
